Baye Herald holds degrees from Jacksonville University (BA) and the University of Colorado at Denver (MA) and is UX certified (NN/g). Baye’s focus in higher education is concentrated in the teaching of writing, online teaching pedagogy, and understanding the learner’s experience as it relates to online learning. During her career in higher education, she has also worked in career services, university retention, program management, quality course assessment, and faculty mentoring. She currently teaches courses on technical communication and technical editing in the Technical Communication & Information Design program at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.
Joshua Ferguson is pursuing his BA in the Technical Communication and Information Design program at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. A combat veteran, he has previously worked as a military intelligence analyst, using the skills he’s gained along the way to make thoughtful contributions to “Technical Communication Across the Professions” in a copyeditor role.
Sam Malone graduated with a BA in Psychology from the University of Alabama and is now in the final year of earning a BA in Technical Communication and Information Design at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.
