- one’s sense of “self” as being a male, female, or some combination thereof
- Hypogonadism
- decreased activity of the ovaries or testes, which can cause endocrine disorders

- paraphilia in which an individual has intense and recurring sexual arousal from being made to suffer from being beaten, bound, or humiliated

- pattern of physiological changes that occur in the human body during sexual arousal, stimulation, and engagement in sexual behavior

- sexual arousal that results from inflicting physical or psychological suffering on another person

- Transvestic disorder
- paraphilia in which the person becomes sexually aroused or has urges and fantasies about becoming sexually aroused from cross-dressing

- very strong, involuntary contractions of muscles in the outer layers of the vagina, often associated with female sexual dysfunctions
